I have to LOL at the people who say error 7 is on my side. It's happened several times where I've gotten an error, logged back in, and tons of people in the district I'm in/ in IRC are all talking about how they just got Err7ed out. Now, if it's something in some service provider somewhere, maybe, but it's not that all Err7 people use wireless or dialup or some stupid crap like that. If it's related to where I live, relocating to be able to play GW better is kinda lame. So, by putting pressure on Anet, they have a bit more power than I do to convince service providers to get it right, since they know they won't get as many new customers if their game develops a reputation for disconnecting.

They can still make money by upgrading content on the current games its called upgrades.
hopefully in the new chapters they add content to the first 2 chapters as it needs it.

Well, according to the posts above about ANet's explanation that it's partially Alter.Net's fault for packetloss, you must have titanium balls to just call ArenaNet liars outright.

BTW, one route through Alter.Net doesn't necessary equal ALL routes through Alter.net. It's kind of like saying I've never had Wing's Axe drop for me therefore nobody has unless they hacked it themselves :-) Just because a person doesn't witness something themselves doesn't mean others don't.. I've had some and I know that some were on my end, while some were probably on the other end (or in-between). I'm over 18 though and realize that I don't know everything, so I could be completely wrong on all accounts..

Error 7's can be really annoying at the wrong times, and I doubt that it will ever be completely resolved (I mean it IS the internet). The best remediation will be when they can add reconnects. Even then, some people will just have bad luck (half our team disconnected during the rush to hold the hill in Hall of Heroes - no reconnect will help that lol).

For what it's worth, just remember that it's not all ANet's fault (via their provider), and it's not all your fault (through your provider). Sometimes it just happens somewhere in between and go on with the game as best you can. Having guildies help out makes things a bit easier, but doesn't take away the pain of being disconnected in The Deep lol..

.... and Loviatar's squirrels seem to be enjoying causing mischief as well. Squirrels? Time for some squirrel stew if you ask me. lol Sorry Loviatar, that was funny though - got an image of a squirrel with devil horns biting on the wires... evil rodents

On Topic: I agree with Cyber here. Even when Anet moves the data to a new server I excpect many days of frequent code 7s (probably more then previously) untill all is set up and moving steadily. I'm sure they will do their best to limit that, but like Cyber said, "It is the internet".

".
according to the SBC tech in a 1mile radius squirrels are their biggest problem chewing on the wires (too expensive to armor them) and they just nick the insulation.

fine over the long hot dry summer but when the first rain comes and shorts hoppen?

no squirrel stew as it is fun to watch them and hear them jumping from the tree and chasing each other across the roof

To me, it would seem Prophecies, being the start of it all, would naturally have greater content and less "endgame" area whereas expansions will be somewhat smaller in content but be mostly "endgame" area and only contain a very small portion of "pre" area (for those who are just entering the series) The fact that the "pre island" was not originally accessable to Tyria-born characters supports this theory.

Yes, I am looking forward to Nightfall, yes I will buy it, yes I do expect it to close to the size of Factions, and no that does not bother me one bit.

After reading the entire 4 pages of this post, I finally found the quote that speaks for me quite nicely, and it's to the point!
